What is recycled light?
In short — sunlight charges my solar panels which I use exclusively to charge the battery packs and rechargeable devices.
While most of the photographs on this site involve a fair amount of planning to be in the right location at the right time to create the best image. Other setups require a little extra help from some fancy flashes. I’ve found some great tools that operate so efficiently that I can power all of my lights from renewable power. It feels good to know that the beauty that surrounds us can be preserved by a making a gorgeous image and by preserving valuable resources.
I’m proud to say that every shutter release, every strobe fired, and every lumen emitted from the monolights came from recycling the light from the powerful, ever-giving sun.
If you’re interested in getting your own solar panel charging system operational, I can provide some helpful contacts. Feel free to ask me more details.
